South Swindon MP Sir Robert Buckland is calling on residents to get ready to vote for their favourite local as he launches his “South Swindon’s Favourite Pub Competition”.
The competition will run from Friday 22nd July until Friday 19th August, and Sir Robert has pledged to do his best to visit all of the pubs who sign up for the competition and encourage local residents to join him on the visit, buy a drink and have a chat.
During the final week of the competition, Robert will be calling on local residents from across South Swindon to vote in a poll to help crown South Swindon’s Favourite Pub.
Sir Robert explained:
“We are lucky here in South Swindon to have many brilliant pubs, which are truly at the heart of the communities they serve.
“I am calling on pubs in South Swindon to sign up for the competition, and for residents to join me in supporting our local pubs this summer, after what has been a challenging two years.
“Throughout the competition period, I will be promoting the pubs involved on my social media pages and via local news sources.”
